Mole Day Extra Credit Opportunities

Option 1:

 Aluminum mole Bring in a roll of aluminum foil (share with a friend, there will be plenty to go around in a full roll). Measure out 1 mole of aluminum. Use that aluminum to craft a mole.

Option 2:

Mole Day Poster Draw or trace a mole day poster to hang up around the school on mole day.

Option 3:

Mole Day T-Shirt Design a mole day shirt (must be worn ALL DAY on mole day).

Option 4:

Mole Day Flag Design and build a mole day flag. The flag can not be drawn. Glue, cloth, glitter, etc.

Option 5:

Theme Mole Using the design I give you, make a cloth mole and stuff it with…well stuffing. The mole should be decorated or dressed in some theme (holiday, past mole day, movies, tv, etc.)

Option 6:

Mole Day Cake Bake a mole day cake. It can be cut in the shape of a mole or the mole design can be drawn in icing on the top of a square or round cake. Can also be cupcakes.

Option 7:

Mole Day Piñata Make a mole day piñata. This should be your design. Don’t bring in a donkey from Lion King and tell me it’s a mole. You must also fill the piñata with candy.

Option 8:

Mole Day Costume Design a mole costume and wear it ALL DAY mole day.

Option 9:

Be Creative (mole day button maker, mole day greeting cards) If you can come up with an idea that you think will promote or inform people about moles or mole day, tell me your idea and if I approve it you can do it.

Option 10:

Decorate/Clean-up Mole Day Helping me to set up for mole day and clean up mole day. The set up will be after school for about 1 hour the day before mole day. The clean up will be about 30 minutes after school on Mole Day.

Invitations!!!

We also want to promote mole day. So every year we invite all the BHS staff to come by and visit during mole day. Each of you will receive a mole day invitation. You are to fill it out and hand it to someone who works at this school (teacher, custodian, principal, cafeteria worker, maintenance worker, etc.). Tell them that if they return it to me (in person on mole day or in my box) that you will receive extra credit.
